Everyone is invited to participate in our scheduled walks. Participation is free however, by becoming a member of the Las Vegas High Rollers and Strollers and paying a $3 walk fee, you will glean a number of additional benefits. Of course we welcome walkers from other volksmarching clubs around the US and around the world.
By becoming a member of the LVHRS, you will be supporting our local walking club, enjoy the camaraderie and health benefits of walking with a group, and be invited to our monthly meetings and special holiday events.
To become a member, please fill out this LVHRS Membership Formand bring it to our next meeting or mail it in. Dues are $15 for a family and $10 for an individual per year. Dues are due on January 1st. Members joining after July 1st pay half price. Your membership will begin as soon as your payment is received.
If you would like to order stamp books or a new walker packet you can contact the AVA or order books from our Club Treasurer.
Members and potential new members are always welcome to attend our monthly meetings which are held virtually via Zoom. Meetings are held on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 7pm. Members are provided with log in details prior to each meeting via email and Groupworks notifications. If you are not a current member but would like to attend a meeting, email the club president at lvhrs1985@yahoo.com to request the meeting invitation link.
Our club also offers a Lifetime Membership option. Personal lifetime memberships are based on age when the individual buys in: 70+ is $50, 60-69 is $100, 50-59 is $150, 40-49 is $200, and 1-39 is $250. Lifetime members save 50 cents on all LVHRS Year Round events. Also with the Lifetime membership, seniors 70 and up will receive two free walk coupons each year for our YREs and those 60-69 will receive one free walk coupon each year for our YREs; these coupons are non-transferable.
